Dr. Jerome Cymerman

Dr. Cymerman received his DMD degree from the Univerity of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in 1980.  He did his general practice residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine/Jackson Endodontic residency at the Nassau County Medical Center in 1983.  Dr. Cymerman is a Diplomate of the American Board of Endodontics.  He has lectured extensively on various topics of in endodontics.  His areas of expertise include immunopathogenesis of periapical lesions, treatment of traumatic dental injuries , microsurgical root canal therapy and the use of cone beam computerized tomography in Endodontics.  Dr. Cymerman is an Affiliate Member of the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology.

Dr. Cymerman has been in private Endodontic practice since 1983 in Stony Brook, New York.  He holds a staff appointment at the University Hospital at Stoney Brook and is a clinical assistant professor at the school of Dental Medicine at Stony Brook University.  His research activities have included such varied topics as ultrasonics, immunology of periapical lesions, and pain management, all of which have been published in the Journal of Endodontics.

As a member of the Real World Endo’s Board of Advisors, Dr. Cymerman id certified to conduct lectures and seminars on Precision-Based Endodontics.
