Utilizing advanced three-dimensional imaging modalities combined with interactive treatment planning software helps clinicians provide an accurate assessment of potential implant receptor sites. This can be especially important when contemplating placing an implant into an immediate extraction socket, gaining initial stability, or when attempting an immediate loading protocol.
The “Triangle of Bone®” concept based on CBCT imaging provides clinicians with a decision tree protocol to evaluate implant receptor sites and the need for bone and soft tissue grafting.
New and highly advanced software tools combined with the application of desktop and intra-oral scanning devices and in-office 3-D printing modalities provide clinicians with an enhanced diagnostic toolset. The merging of these technologies provides clinicians with unparalleled ability to properly inspect potential implant receptor sites, to insure proper restorative outcomes through the various protocols of CBCT derived surgery.
The purpose of this program will be to aid clinicians in understanding how to achieve successful diagnosis and management of deficient sites, matching implant types with receptor sites within the framework of restoratively driven protocols to provide long term functional and restorative success for single implants, multiple implants, and “All-on-X” full arch reconstruction.
Participation will consist of an interactive treatment planning session. Attendees will need to bring their laptops with the latest version of BlueSky Plan software (www.blueskyplan.com). The software is free to download. Clinicians who wish to advance their skills are encouraged to bring CBCT scans for group review in the afternoon.
Participants will learn:
- To diagnose using 3-D CBCT imaging
- To understand the “Triangle of Bone®” concept for treatment planning
- Concepts regarding immediate extraction and immediate implant placement
- Decision tree for immediate or delayed, single and “All-on-X” reconstruction
- Understand the application of Implant Stability Quotients (ISQ) values
- Concepts regarding bone grafting protocols
- Understand how to achieve successful diagnosis and management of deficient sites
- Match implant types with receptor sites within the framework of restoratively driven protocols
- Understand concepts of surgical templates, guided surgery protocols and 3-D Printing Modalities
- How to provide long term functional and restorative success

"This course was outstanding! NJHPDI is a comfortable venue. It was well organized and efficient. Dr. Ganz is an amazing teacher who can bring complex matters alive and make them understandable"
Dr. Edward Dooley, Spring Lake, NJ
"It's my third course at NJHPDI and quality of education I receive here is untouchable"
Dr. Zubia Iftikhar, Millburn, NJ
"It was an honor to be in the precense of an actual icon in the field of implantology and 3D/Cone Beam usage. Clear, concise and Dr. Ganz is an outstanding communicator"
Dr. Martin Stess, Flemington, NJ
"Dr. Ganz has a keen ability to turn the complex into not just a flow chart of 3D surgical and prosthetic treatment planning guidelines, as is de rigueur in many educational settings, but rather, his continuum allows the practitioner to make sense of what was initially thought to be prohibitive. Thus, creating a valuable skill set, considering what we all do on a daily basis can quickly change from routine to overwhelming. A pure joy to learn from, a gentleman, and scholar who has not only been involved for 25 years but, in fact, he has been an integral part in developing programs that we take for granted in 2020. How many educators can truly make you feel like you are in a one on one forum?"
- Brian K. Tanz Prosthodontist, New York, NY
"Restoring teeth has always been the endgame but the tools we use have changed the game. Gaining proficiency with our new tools such as CBCT, 3D planning software ( Blue Sky Bio) and how they can be utilized in guided surgery will ensure better predictable outcomes. Dr Ganz is not only a pioneer but has remained at the forefront of this technology. This gives him the unique ability to fully explain the integration of these new technologies. Not only that but his training as a Prosthodontist puts him in the unique position to help attendees fully appreciate the importance of proper diagnosis and treatment planning. We are lucky to have such a valuable resource of knowledge in New Jersey"
- Dr Barry Kaplan, Prosthodontist, Morristown, NJ
"Dr. Ganz is extremely knowledgeable on immediate implant dentistry. The salient point is proper planning."
Dr. Craig Henry, West Hempstead, NY
"Super! Dr. Ganz is very down to earth and the lecture is very informative... Highly recommend!"
Dr. Chi Ki Andrew Chung, Schenectady, NY

"Dr. Ganz is an incredible forward thinker, innovator, and educator. His work in the area of 3D CBCT and treatment planning set the foundation upon which digital dentistry is now practiced today! He teaches the newest techniques and technology in a way that is easy to understand. His courses and mentorship were an integral role in my development as a dentist and in the incorporation of implants and other surgical procedures in my practice. I highly recommend Dr. Ganz's course to anyone interested in learning 3D diagnostics and treatment planning from the best!"
