  • Preparing a complete laminate case with multiple prep designs (normal arch form)
  • Preparing laminates on irregular arch forms
  • Preparing a semi-permanent immediate crown with self-cured composite
  • Taking a perfect full arch VPS impression without missing any critical preps
  • Taking a Stick bite/centric relation record (optional – participant volunteer required)
  • Provisional Techniques for Laminate Veneers

Clinical and video demonstrations

Dr. Mark Pitel

Mark L. Pitel, DMD, FAGD, FACD, FADFE
Dr. Mark Pitel is currently an Associate Clinical Professor of Operative Dentistry at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine and the former Course Director of Predoctoral Esthetics.   A 3rd generation dentist, he has over 39 years' experience owning and operating private general practices with an "emphasis on Cosmetic, Restorative and Implant Dentistry" in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and California and New York. A past president of the New Jersey Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Pitel has been an active member of numerous other dental organizations such as the American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry.  He has received his fellowship from the American College of Dentists, the Academy of General Dentistry and the International Academy of Dentofacial Esthetics, holds Level II certification from the Academy of Laser Dentistry and has been recognized by Who's Who in Dentistry. Dr. Pitel is an internationally recognized expert and lecturer on topics such as adhesive dentistry, dental materials, anterior and posterior esthetic restorations and cosmetic and laser dentistry. He has authored or co-authored over 50 scientific papers and articles of interest to patients and is the author of a textbook on dental impression taking.  A former editor of the NJ AGD Journal, he has received several patents and awards for journalism in dentistry.

Dr. Kenneth Feiler

Dr. Kenneth N. Feiler, DMD, FAGD, AAACD
Dr. Feiler has been creating beautiful smiles for over 37 years, including those of celebrities from sports, film, television, and Broadway. As a graduate of Rutgers University as well as the Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dental Medicine, where he later taught prosthodontics and oral diagnosis, he has written and continues to write on all aspects of dentistry. This has expanded into founding and directing the New Jersey Health Professionals Development Institute (NJHPDI), which offers a variety of health education courses for dental professionals. In early 1980s Dr Feiler created a cosmetically motivated dental practice within his group practice, creating full cosmetic smile makeovers as well as innovative partial makeovers. Dr. Feiler presently has a large multi-specialty, multi-location group practice where he still practices cosmetically motivated dentist as well as preventive, surgical and reconstructive dentistry. Dr. Feiler was the first general dentist in New Jersey to become an Elite Provider of Invisalign. Dr. Feiler has been a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry® (AACD) since 1988. He obtained his AACD accreditation in 1991 and s one of less than 400 AACD accredited dentists worldwide. Among Dr. Feiler's other achievements are fellowships from the Academy of General Dentistry and the National Institute of Dental Research in Bethesda, Maryland, being a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry® (AACD) since 1988 and obtaining his AACD accreditation in 1991, becoming the first general dentist in New Jersey to become an Invisalign ELITE provider, continuous support of community projects and most importantly having three wonderful children and 3 spectacular grandchildren.
