Dr. Samuel Zwetchkenbaum

Dr. Sam Zwetchkenbaum completed a fellowship in the Geriatric Dentistry Fellowship, part of Rutgers School of Dental Medicine (RSDM) in Newark and the New Jersey Institute for Successful Aging, Rowan University- School of Osteopathic Medicine in South Jersey. After several years of teaching at RSDM providing dental care at nursing homes using portable equipment, he recently moved to Rhode Island to serve as Dental Director in the Department of Health. Previously, he was faculty at University of Michigan, providing clinical care and directing the General Practice Residency program.  He received his DDS from the University of North Carolina in 1987, completed a General Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis in 1988, and completed Post-graduate studies in Prosthodontics at RSDM (formerly UMDNJ)in 1992. He received an MPH in Health Management and Policy from the University of Michigan School of Public Health in 2006.
